They are mostly straight forward. It's easiest to grab the anaconda.ks file from a manual install and work from that.

To launch it is also not hard. Use a rhel (or centos) boot disk/image and at the boot prompt, edit the line to call a kickstart boot. See https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/Installation_Guide/sect-kickstart-howto.html#sect-kickstart-installation-starting.
