Nice links & info there. I remember reading sometime back a research project & paper funded and published by the Library of Congress on long term archive media performance & longevity. Might be worth a look there. Was some years ago; I'd think they've updated it. Quick summary was that CD-R had a much longer life than did DVD. -kc
