[ale] Debian and wireless

Not having wireless networking tools work out of the box is one of the
biggest downfalls of Debian for desktop users, imho. The trouble
you're having right now is why I went back to Ubuntu after a few weeks
on Debian for the first time in years. Sorry that I don't have any
specific advice.
