[ale] Streaming video for Linux?

Just yesterday I received a Logitech Revue as part of google's developer
give-away. It's pretty neat and allows me to control my TV, DVR, and audio
with either the provided keyboard or from my droid. It's got some other cool
features, but it also allows you to stream Netflix and Amazon. I tried
playing some of the vids off my network, but the codec support was lacking
(although there were promises of better support in the future). The price is
a bit steep: $300 unless you're a Dish subscriber.

I didn't like the netflix application as much as the one on the PS3. The PS3
version lets you watch other movies that aren't in your queue by either
browsing based on category or searching.
