[ale] using ipod touch or iphone with linux

I put applications on using the app store on the touch itself and use
anorake to put on music. It works, It does hang up sometimes but it works.
The problem I have with the mix is that I can't get the sync in my ford to
play the ipod music when I use the linux machine to load music on it.
