[ale] Linux for Beginners

i installed 9.2 because i had a copy handy from inside an old issue of linux
magazine (from one of my previous attempts to put linux on my desktop. I
think i saw the pocket guide for cheap at microcenter, so i'll be sure to
grab it next time i'm there. Thanks!
