try macprices.com. amazon is usually cheapest. or a refurb (apple store
deals page) or if you're a student/teacher (apple education).

i got a 15" powerbook g4 and wish i had made the switch from pc he$l long
ago. sure i have to use my PC every once in a while, but Remote Desktop is
my friend!

for mac retail if you need ongoing support, check out AIS Computers, too.

Hi John:

The lowest cost place is a college or university bookstore. If that is not
available, I suggest www.macmall.com or www.macwarehouse.com as a second
choice. If mail order is not desirable, then the best place in Atlanta is
MicroCenter or perhaps Frye's Electronics. They both stock Mac products.
CompUSA also carries a more limited selection. The most expensive, but best
selection place is the Apple Store in either Lenox or NorthPoint Mall.

There is no one that makes a Mac clone anymore.

Hope all is well,
Barry
