As I mentioned before on the ALE list; "author Arnold Robbins, will be visiting Atlanta this Thursday May 20th @7pm at the GA Tech Bookstore (Bookstore directions at the bottom of this email). He's well-known
within the open source community as the maintainer of the "gawk" language and as author of several popular books, including "UNIX In a Nutshell". Most recently, he's been writing a book for my publisher titled "Linux Programming: The Fundamentals", which should be a bestseller, considering Robbins' reputation as an author and as a contributor to the open source community.

Please plan to attend!!!!!!!

Harold

--Bookstore Directions--
The bookstore is actually on the edge of campus. If they are driving, they should not go to the main Tech campus. Coming South from I-75 S or I-85 S they should take the 14th/10th street exit, turning left either on 14th street or 10th street. Then turn Right onto Spring Street (2nd light). We are located at the corner of 5th Street and Spring Street (on the left). There is a parking deck just behind the GA Tech Hotel and Conference Center (entrance to deck is on Spring Street).

Coming North on I-75/85, you can take the West Peachtree Street exit. Turn left on West Peachtree. You can then turn left on 5th Street a few blocks up, and you'll drive right by our Starbucks and the bookstore. Take a left onto Spring and then follow the directions for the parking deck.

There is metered parking outside the store, but I don't recommend using it for the event--it is also less expensive to use the parking deck.
