[ale] Problem with monitor cord extension

There are 2 types of monitor extension cables. The low cost type that
can support 800x600 @ 60Hz and the $35-$45 type that can support
1600x1200 @ 90Hz.

If your cable is of the former type, return it at get the later type. If
it is already the later type, there is a problem with the connections
somewhere and the mouse signal is "leaking" into the video stream.
Double check that all the connections are solid.

You didn't mention if you were using one of the cordless radio mice.
