Well, we have a Name, PenguinFest, http://www.penguinfest.org will be live
sometime by the end of the weekend.

We're tentativly looking at March of next year, though that may change
depending on venue and stuff like that.

We have some tentative events planned.... see the list at the bottom of the
email.

If anyone wants to help out, let us know, send an email to
majordomo at tinyminds.org with Subscribe expo in the body to join the mail
list.

Thanks,

Mark

Some Suggested Events:
Spy v. Spy : two teams compete to simultaneously hack into the others
server. First one to "capture the flag" wins. tailing log files on the
big screen for viewers.

Automated products division: There's a certain VW that's local to
Atlanta with LOADS of cool Linux hacks on board. What else are people
using Linux for to automate things. Served with example code,
schematics, etc for download.

Open Source Politics : Panel discussion of how to get open source as the
required standard for government use (or school use, medical use, pick a
topic)

Animation with Linux tools: Show off "how to make..." especially now
that Blender is GPL'ed.

Industrial strength penguins: show and tell of Linux use in
manufacturing and industry.

Code Cruncher Competition: Use your favorite language and compiler tools
to solve a problem or perform a task. Beginner, intermediate, advanced,
Guru levels.

Hack-n-Slash: two teams have a box of miscellaneous PC components (old
junk donated from closets that is known to be working). Goal: build a
Linux box and surf to a given web page. First to display wins. Think
"Installfest Junkyard". (I would like to participate in that as it
sounds fun!)
