[ale] HELP! Installing Linux over Windows

i havent had Windows XP with Linux on the same box, but LILO will handle Windows just fine.


Here is basically have i've done it.


1. Install Windows normally
2. partition with Partition Magic to create "Free Space"
3. Install Linux.  Disk Druid w/ RedHat sees that freespace just fine, and lets you set up your Linux partitions there.
4. use LILO as your bootloader
5. in lilo.conf just have Windows as the default OS if you want.
