[ale] Kppp and Mindspring

When I set up Gnome ppp dialing, I had to use the syntax id at mindspring.com
in order to connect.  This was also true under my wife's (sigh) 95 account
with Mindspring.

Has pretty much worked flawlessly since then.  Hope this helps,
