[ale] Strange diald trigger

I am at work on a Win95 system right now, but I remember there being an icon
on the bottom right for scheduled tasks and Win 98 had scheduled a task to
check every 30 minutes for updates.  When I get home this evening I'll look
at my daughter's system and let you know exactly what it was.
