	I'm no expert on ISO9660 internals, but it seems that Microsoft
could have opted for something backwards compatible, much like the Red
Rock Extensions to ISO9660 from some years ago. They opted for the
backward compatibility route with VFAT, you'll recall.

	Linux is, however, unphased. We got both VFAT and Joliet support
in record time. FAT32 took a little longer, but we're there now.
