[ale] pfSense / Squidguard

I’ve used ip-cop for ages.  Too lazy to look into anything else.

It has the firewall stuff, bandwidth graphs and metering, VPNs of multiple kinds, some plugins you can use to introduce squidguard and Dan’sGuardian…  A little more of a hacker’s toy, but it works, and it works well.  Busted one of my kids with it when he was an early teen.
