The Georgia IBM POWER User Group meeting is a quarterly meeting focused on
the users of IBM POWER Systems.
IBM POWER Systems run AIX, IBM i and Linux operating systems.
The focus of this group is primarily users of AIX and Linux operating
systems.
IBM does not offer its own Linux distribution. Rather, IBM runs standard
distributions of Linux provided by the standard Linux distributors.
Currently, IBM POWER Systems support RHEL, SLES and Ubuntu.
The topic for the April 21, 2016, Georgia IBM POWER User Group meeting
will be Provisioning Linux on POWER Systems.
A customer who runs RHEL will discuss their processes for provisioning
RHEL.
A customer who runs SLES will discuss their processes for provisioning
SLES.
An IBM Lab Services resource will discuss creating LPARs or Virtual
Machines or Guests to run an operating system - Linux, etc.
If anyone from the Linux Enthusiasts community would like to attend, you
are welcome to do so.
Please forward this email to Victor.Threatt at us.ibm.com and provide the
