[ale] Mostly OT: Perl to ms sql ( aka, how can I NOT use windows/vb, etc to suck data out of a sql server system)

Not perl, but this seems pretty cool, https://github.com/jeffknupp/sandman

Maybe run that and then have perl consume the API?
