Funny.

Same here.  I'm using the gnome terminal with many tabs.  Every few days 
I cycle through them and close the ones just sitting at a prompt.

The 2nd desktop is holding VM Player running Windows 2003 for some stuff 
I'm working one.  Once that is done I'll free it up.
