[ale] [slightly OT] Android Tablet mysteriously out of space

Well let's try to steer the discussion out of the political woods and
back to linux.

One of these days I will spend some quality time to understand Android
storage organization.

./storage/emulated/legacy/.wsj-external-data-cache-USA was in fact the
culprit - I removed that and now have 11.85GB free.

So NOW I can install the spiffy Disk & Storage Analyzer, and it is happy
to report usage of Apps. BUT, it sees all the apps installed inside

./storage/emulated/0

Ergo, WSJ's app is merrily storing away newspapers for the last year in
a location that isn't visible to the normal monitoring apps, and is NOT
cleaned up when you clear the cache, and is NOT removed when you
uninstall the App.

So, is there any rhyme or reason to these various folder choices?
