[ale] cmake

Well,  I was going to complain about cmake.  I'm working on the latest 
mysql src and it uses cmake.  I like make. While running cmake I was 
missing some development dependencies. Instead of having to try and 
figure out package names to install via yum cmake told me the common 
names on different distributions when it failed.  That deserves a 
cardboard cookie!
