[ale] Open suse 13 and display issues HDMI vs DVI

Do you see the bios boot info, grub and the initial kernel info?  (Not sure if SuSE displays the kernel stuff by default.)

If you *do* see at least the bios and grub info, then I'd check to see if you have a /etc/X11/xorg.conf file defined.

If you *don't* see the bios info, I'd check to see if there's a relevant bios setting on the computer.

Let me know, and we'll see if we can dig a little deeper.
