I know that at least two HP systems that shipped with Windows 8 that I dealt with had an option to toggle a setting in the setup to allow any OS to be installed.

Subject: [ale] Linux on UEFI mother boards

So I'm needing to build a custom [AMD] system for a client.
Linux dual boot with Windisease #7 is a requirement.

I'm having trouble finding a main board with standard BIOS
instead of (or in addition to) UEFI.

I am unclear on the situation here:

?? Is the MafiaSoft UEFI encryption scam only an issue
on systems that come with Windiseae pre installed ??
... or is it an issue even when you are building a system
from a stock UEFI motherboard ??

?? Have Ubuntu and Redhat paid the coporapist extortion
so their distros can be installed on MafiaSoft locked UEFI
systems ??
...and which Ubuntu & Redhat derivatives would work then ??
...maybe Mint ?? Maybe Cent OS ??

?? Can most any modern Linux distro be installed on UEFI
mainboard systems ??

Any light y'all can shine though this dark MafiaSoft punk thug
corporapist nightmare corruption would be appreciated.

in peace
aaron
