Ubuntu
     - Maintained, well documented, and lots of packages. Unity is no
good. Seems designed for phones, not desktops.

- XFCE
_ GUI has to have a cpu graph on task-bar. Conky gets covered by
windows. Miss the Gnome/Compiz eye candy of Ubuntu 10.10.
_ Has to have menu, and ability to put icon shortcuts on task-bar.

- Firefox
  _ NoScript
  _ Adblock
_ Stylish - For dark themes

Use Fedora pc next this above box for tv, alt media player, print
server, and toy servers. Change the OS every year. It's a slower pc and
Ubuntu and Mint seemed a bit sluggish. Fedora is flaky at times.
