By the way...
The free version is now has all the features available in the paid version.
The only difference, other than access to paid support, is that the servers can't be patched from XenCenter.
CLI only. Not a problem for anyone here.

Should not have any problems upgrading that I know of.

You should be able to upgrade in place as long as your hardware is supported.
Upgrades from 5.6 look like their supported, but you may need to do it in steps.
