without sounding overly harsh, I personally only wanted a separate list due
to a particular -vvv poster who took to this list like an IRC channel. I
haven't minded anyone else's occasional OT discussions. and since it sounds
like that situation has been resolved, I'm content as is. thanks Jim, et al
