Hmm, reminds me of a little humorous sound effect in Star Trek: In 
Search Of Spock when Kirk and skeleton crew make off with the Enterprise 
and Scotty had broken the engines in the new star ship that was being 
used to give chase. Sounded like an old Model T backfiring and then dying.
