[ale] Numbers 8 and 9

I've had a couple of recruiters call me after seeing my github repos.
Sadly none have ever mentioned my StackOverflow/Exchange profiles
(yet!). Having published work out there, even small stuff, can
definitely produce leads in unexpected places.
