Salty is very bad if you’re running at the end already.

One of the most annoying commercials to me these days is the one for Tamiflu.   It says it is only effective if taken near the onset of symptoms but you have to get it from your doctor.  How many doctors actually see patients on short notice?

Instant miso soup. Its stupid salty which seems to rapidly settle the stomach. Tastes good and has decent nutrients. Add instant rice for a bit more energy.

 day.  That means about 100 ounces / day for a 200 lb person.

So, my advice is, for what it's worth, don't get it.  Easier said than done.  If you do get it, taking something like coldeze or zicam quickly might slow it down a bit, but I haven't tested it.  It hit me hard and fast, and I woke up at 4 AM Tuesday shivering under the covers with no warning the night before.  If you get to the living in the bathroom stage, you must keep hydrating at all costs.
