Hi Mike H, and all,

(side note: Wow. THAT was fun. Not. We've been talking about power and I just had a 30 minute power failure. The whole region was out and I think something happened at the substation. My downstairs pc shut down abruptly as it's not on ups. My dehumidifier did also. I had to scramble, in the dark, but I had a flashlight on my belt, to lighten the load on my other pc and shut it down before the battery would have died in less than 3 minutes. I got it safely shut down, and the ups display said 30% battery left when I was done. I'll have to recalibrate the os for a quicker auto shut down. I'm in for loads more fun tomorrow restarting things, especially the downstairs machine. It's Linux Mint and doesn't run with many files open. Last time, 4 reboots cured it of its doldrums. Wishing I had that house sized battery bank.)

Regarding your message:

Stove? Oven? Dryer? Water Heater?

If those are gas, you have to add your gas bill too.

8-)

If you're all electric with a $ 70 bill, I'm very impressed.

Ron
