Good choices, all the way around.

As much as I hate having to manage ~40 Solaris boxes to manage the
storage for the GT PACE group, I love having the ZFS stuff to fling
the bits around with.  And yes, it handles the traffic cop situation
nicely.

What OS are you going with?  OpenIndiana? FreeBSD? Or are you taking
the leap with ZoL?
