[ale] VPS hosting recommendations?

I didn't feel like hacking an iptables rate counter to redirect traffic the
limits out to an error page. That's good for spanking the /.'ers that keep
hitting reload (more than, say, 10 connections in 1 minute and they get
redirected to the "Site overloaded" page on a special port.). Running netop
to see what's happening then adjusting params and reHUPing apache to limit
damage is a process as well.

So's shutting off apache.
