[ale] VPS hosting recommendations?

The guys at Linode are great and I can't speak highly enough of them.
I've got 2 Linodes that I use as VPN end-points, bastion hosts and
Puppet master servers... I've never had a problem with network bandwidth
overages and I can only recall one network outage in the entire time
I've been hosting with them which was fixed extremely quickly. I pretty
much use Linode and AWS as I've been shuttering my accounts with other
hosting companies because of cost and/or customer service. I'm a power
user, and if I'm calling support it's generally not a trivial issue. My
last shared hosting web provider is losing mine, and all my consulting
clients, bueiness as I'm moving them because of their repeated
experience of closing tickets without resolution. I've always had quick
responses to Linode support, on the rare ocurrance I actually needed to
open a ticket.
