So? The Ubuntu kernel has significant patches. If you chose to report
a bug to the kernel developers, it's essential that you give the exact
version of your kernel including what version of your distro's
packaging you're using. Anyone who cares about the kernel knows that
the "Ubuntu kernel" is just an easier way of saying "the Linux kernel
packaged in Ubuntu".

I don't believe Ubuntu is doing that much different than other
