[ale] VM load average stays around 4.5 and jumps as high as 8 or 9

I have not tried that. We have a pile of ESX stuff at work so that gets
used. Migrating to ESX5 soon (hopefully) and that may smooth things out.

I have a test run of Cloudmin on a single box. M$ blunders $2k3 installed
and runs solid on that (kvm-based virtualization with a web gui - from the
same folks that wrote webmin and usermin).

As long as the general population is passive, apathetic, diverted to
consumerism or hatred of the vulnerable, then the powerful can do as they
please, and those who survive will be left to contemplate the outcome.
