[ale] Smartphone/ROM recommendations

I am Happy as a Clam on my HTC Incredible 2 running Cyanogenmod 7. The
web-based updater didn't do anything for me.   I wound up doing the
install manually, but that worked just as advertised.  Now I'm waiting
with interest for the Cyanogen ICS build.
