I think that it is just common sense to acknowledge how
almost all the political and socio-economic structures that
have come to dominate modern human civilization are
doomed to unmitigated failure due their fatal lack of
sustainability and inherent vulnerability to the cancers
of fraud, avarice and corruption. Such acknowledgment
would seem to be a simple, deliberated refusal to live in
delusional denial of reality more than an indulgence in
pessimism.

Nor is it pessimism to accept the impending planetary omnicide
that will inevitably arise from staying the suicidal course where
arrogant, emotionalized, greed driven political expansions of
the environmentally devastating mechanisms of global scale
industrial capitalism, corporatism, militarism, fascism and
consumerism appear destined to continue unabated, fueled by
seemingly endless supplies of free market Kool-Aid, rapidly
vanishing supplies of oil and natural resources, and completely
depleted reserves of basic sanity, secular morality, and social
conscience. Then, to thoroughly decimate any hope for the
survival of humanity, we see those toxic failures being cheered
ever onward by rabid, fear driven, partisan propaganda puppets
and hate mongering religious cult terrorists wearing smiley
"Reagan the torturing war criminal" masks and actively vilifying
or denying every concept of social equity while striving to install
more sycophant whores of the corporate casino gambler class
and agents of the global death machine industry into every
position of social authority that might otherwise be used to
help divert humanity's headlong race to oblivion.

Putting on a show of grinning idiot optimism in the face of this
world of pandemic fraud, subsidized suicidal stupidity, obscene
avarice, and unforgivable social injustice would appear to be
just one more insane, Orwellian fraud.

Yeah, because that is going to make all the difference
in the world to a supra-national corporapist consortium
of greed glutted oligarchy elitists secretly coercing and
extorting the world's governments into creating an unelected
global police state overlord organization with unlimited
authority to exercise democracy destroying international
censorship intended to crush freedom and free expression,
kill cultural exchange, and destroy democracy and dissentm
effectively dismantling our internet (one of the few modern
inventions of humanity was actually worthy of optimism).

The tiny success of massive world wide internet website
blackout protests in holding SOPA and PIPA at bay has
been immediately rendered meaningless as we now
have an even more massive, oppressive and draconian
global censorship cannon being rammed up our back side
from the impenetrable secret lair of a corporapist cabal.

As the ever brilliant cartoon optimist Stimpy would say,
"Happy happy joy joy!"
