[ale] VMPlayer 3 vs VirtualBox

Actually, the price of Fusion recently dropped to $50, and to be honest,
the DirectX performance in VirtualBox is not to my liking, so I caved in
and bought it.

I still use VirtualBox religiously on Linux/Unix.
