BTW, the "come on" was not about letting a server outage happen. That
happens to all of us. I was just saying that you should never have to
go home to get to simple things like SSH or PGP keys. Technology has
saved us from needing to commute to our personal documents. Big files,
yeah, I have to drive home for those. But if you need a scan of my
drivers license, birth certificate, or a PGP key signed... I can do
that any time any place.

Again, I wasn't trying to criticize for the outage. C'est la vie! I
reread my post and realized that is sounded a bit prickish. Not my
intention. Snark fail.
