[ale] java frustrations

My CentOS had both a /usr/lib/mozilla and a /usr/lib/firefox - it is
important to note the link needed to be in /usr/lib/firefox*/plugins not
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.

I notice you said /usr/lib/Mozilla. Does your distro also have a
/usr/lib/firefox*?

It does talk about "creating a link under the firefox/plugins directory"
above the actual link command.

It probably should make it explicit in the later step but I think the
post made it clear the issue was which library and not the location.

On CentOS/RHEL this is under /usr/lib/firefox (or /usr/lib/firefox<ver>)

Also that changes it globally (you need to do it as root). A later
post in the thread also mentions changes to an individual user's setup
that might be necessary as well.

Suggests:

ln -s /usr/java/jre1.6.0_23/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so .

doesn't say where . is, but I tried:

ln -s /usr/java/jre1.6.0_23/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libnpjp2.so

Still no love.
