[ale] Fillable PDF forms

Interesting.  I tried this on computer A and it did just what you said
you wanted.  But you made me doubt, so I tried it on computer B, and
it didn't seem to work.  I'll check on the details later, ,but for now
I can say:
I was able to create a form in OpenOffice
Save as a PDF
Open the pdf with the standard document reader provided with Ubuntu 10.10
fill in the form
save the filled in form
I re-opened the saved form and it was still filled in.

I'll send you the sample files off list if you would like.
