PS to my prior message:

Figured out how to install MonoDevelop.

Start Synaptic and search for and install the following:

monodevelop
monodevelop-debugger-mdb
monodevelop-database

After that, a MonoDevelop entry will appear in the main system /
programming menu.

For those in the know, can you also do C# in Eclipse? If so, how does it
compare to MonoDevelop?

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, you might want to
call on the phone. I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy
mailing lists and such. I don't always see new messages very quickly.)
