[ale] OT: Verizon Mifi

I just picked up one of these at Fry's last night.  It was the last one they had in stock.  They apparently have been running a special on them recently for only $69 and $49/month for the 5 GB service plan with no contract.  I am still waiting for it to be activated, but this seems like a great deal for anyone else who might be interested.  Here are the pertinent links:

My only concern is the comment about "it may lack roaming".  Does anyone have any experience with this setup?
