After reading a thread here mentioning duplicity and it's gui, I
decided to
try and set up a simple cron to back up one of my machines to an nfs host.
According to the man page this should work though:

{30}:/home/nomad>duplicity full --no-encryption --volsize=5000
- --exclude /opt --exclude /home --exclude /mnt --exclude /media /
file:///mnt/data1/backups/vampire
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.
Last full backup date: none

IOError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument

The excludes are all nfs mounts except /opt which is just a huge app
repository that's
easily re-installed. Anyone see anything blatantly wrong? yes,
/mnt/data1/backups/vampire
exists and is accesable. I am running the command as root.
