[ale] can't install Wine

apt-get --purge remove wine
???

In rpm-land, I can run rpm -ql wine and get a list of all that was written
to the drive during the install. pipe that to a file and run it through rm
-f and then a rpm -e to remove it from the rpm database and rpm --rebuilddb
to force a clean and compact on the database.

is the wine daemon still running?

even _emulated_ version of windows are crappy!
