If you are looking to have something Ubuntu like (judging by last line),
try pulling down Peppermint One or Peppermint ICE (mem rquired: 192Mb).
A little bulkier than Damn Small and others, but has the ability to
pull things in from Ubuntu repositories. [1]

I currently use the ICE on my netbook, and it flies. YouTube/Hulu: no
stutter whatsoever on wireless. ICE is tailored toward heavy use of
webapps, and runs single session browser (ie: one instance of web app
will not cause the others to go down when it does). I also use this for
some lightweight VMs on my machines.
