[ale] OT: camera LCD repair

I have repaired point and shoot cameras before.  They are usually not  
to hard to get apart.  The trick for me has been finding parts.  I  
have purchased parts directly from Nikon before but other cameras -  
specifically Canon - forget it.  I think eBay would be my first  
resource.  See if you can find it for sale there and based on the  
price you can decided if you want to repair it or replace it.

Also I have seen services on the internet offering to repair ipod and  
cell phone screens for cheap.  Never used them but you might want to  
take a look.
