[ale] Open source X-Windows for MS-Windows workstations

I use xming and xlaunch and they work perfectly for me. I use it mostly to
run HP-UX gpm and Informix OnPerf and haven't seen issues. I've also used it
for an XDMCP login to Linux, Sun, and HP systems with 100% success.
