The Linux Users Group at Georgia Tech presents

"DD-WRT"
  by Matt G. Habib

Oct. 7th, 2009, 7:00 pm
College of Computing Building, room 52

Overview:

DD-WRT is a Linux based alternative open source firmware suitable for a
great variety of WLAN routers and embedded systems.  Compared to the
software preinstalled on many WLAN routers, DD-WRT allows a reliable
operation with a clearly larger functionality that also fulfills the
demands of professional deployment.

This week's presentation will discuss the use of DD-WRT and the many
additional capabilities it brings to routers.  There will also be a live
demonstration of flashing a supported router.

Upcoming Presentations:

  2009.10.14: RAID and LVM
  2009.10.21: Linux in HPC

Hope to see you there!
