[ale] OT: Cisco2900 Failure

And your question is?  I have several low end catalysts that have
failed in the same manner.  Do you need more than 10/100, and/or are
tied to IOS?  If not, you can pick up new dlink, linksys, dell managed
switches for less than $1000, and they all do 802.1q well.  Or you can
shop ebay grab a 2950 for ~$300 or less.  Maybe craigslist.  I don't
know of any local re-sellers that will put you in a working used 2900
for less than $800.
