[ale] 64 Bit Sniffit?

I've got a handful of Ubuntu servers running 64 bit 8.04/8.10...
and everything is rock solid, but it would sure be useful
to have a 64 bit version of sniffit.

Anyone got one as a .deb?
Does a recompile on the machine from source work?

It's my favorite tool for doing XML/SOAP debugging (crazy I know..).

or does anyone else know of something more elegant
for this kind of thing than tcpdump?
